Do I buy a kamiq or a puma

Drove a puma last week,I have yet to drive and really have a look at kamiq close up,let alone a test drive,the puma looks nice as dose the kamiq,just finding a kamiq in my price range which I upto £20k maximum,its a hard choice

Absolutely essential that you test drive the Kamiq otherwise how can you get a fair comparison. Availability will be next influence followed by price. If all proves equal I would opt for the Kamiq. I believe the Skoda reputation is now rated a 5 star & with all the major components coming from the VAW stable it’s an easy decision to make (for me anyway). Good luck

Spec and price really,my price range is £20000 maximum,I definitely want a power tailgate

Ironically, it was almost 25 years ago I first saw a power tailgate .... on the original Ford Puma!

That sounds cool,wish ford would fit it onto more cars,its like you have to pay for everything now,

After retirement got a small job working in service dept of local Honda dealer, the power tailgate on the Honda Accord was an absolute nightmare. Lost count the number of customer cars I had to collect for tailgate n/w. Vowed I would never have a car with a power tailgate.
Specified it on my Kamiq as a must. Brilliant extra, wouldn’t be without it, 2nd only to my heated screen

Should note, the accord problem was some 12-14yrs ago

I have always liked them,i can imagine the convenience comes into its own i bet,i did find the kamiq very comfortable to sit in,just gotta have a drive thats all
