Hi Gazza, I was quoted 14 weeks when I put my deposit down last Friday. The sales guy looked at some list he had and said that my engine (1.5 TSI DSG) had the least wait, the 1.0 was longer. I got an email yesterday from Skoda confirming they had my order and that “our expert technicians will soon be putting your car into production “!!!

The dealer contacted me today with (hopefully) good news, saying factory has scheduled build date for end of May. The copy of the order though says build week 20 which is 14 May.

Got a pleasant surprise today. The dealer contacted me to say my car was at Emden awaiting shipping (code 38). I was expecting it to take much longer. He said it should be ready for collection in 3/4 weeks.

I've had to chase the dealership but my car is also in Emden awaiting shipping to Southampton (status 38).. Finger crossed, it'll be ready for collection soon!! Has yours arrived yet?

Hi, yes, I’ve been pleasantly surprised by the relative speed from port to delivery. I’m picking mine up next Tuesday.
