New SE being down spec'd
Regarding the OP premise, I note that with the latest range, the SE is now the base spec, so not entirely surprising it's been downgraded somewhat. Suspect it's slightly but not much above what the S used to be. Yet more shrinkflation dressed up as pretending to give us more.
