Found this unusual pattern on my o/s/r brake disc. Car 2 weeks old 80 miles on clock (due to Covid). Couldn’t contact anyone at my dealer. Rang Skoda UK & after 5 attempts 3 emails was contacted by ‘senior tech’ from the dealer in Andover who was ‘on call’.
Said didn’t know what it was but Skoda warranty the brakes for 3 months.

It looks like an issue with the pad not making full contact with the disk. I'd imagine your dealer will just replace the pad. The issue could be a manufacturing fault with the pad itself or some small pieces of grit have gotten trapped.
Had a 2021 1.5 SEL manual with reversing camera and Simply Clever pack in quartz grey. After a number of mostly software issues, it's been replaced with a Kia Soul.

I welcome your comments so thanks. If it was grit, the disc would feel rough & would normally only produce 1 circular mark & of course probably give out a noticeable noise.
The marks you see are smooth & only very (& I mean very) slightly raised. I agree that by removing the pads it would likely give a better idea but I wasn’t prepared to do that myself as I did think this could give the dealer/manufacturer reason to exclude themselves from the problem.
Still difficult to get to see my dealer (Covid) & as it has not actually impacted on vehicle performance they would deem it (& I agree) low priority. Will keep the forum posted

As the car is new don't worry, just take it to the dealer when it opens. They will sort it.

Visited the dealer week ago yesterday. Scott ‘master tech’ had a quick look. Said he remembers seeing this on 1 previous occasion & will contact Skoda along with my photo.
Not heard anything as at yesterday so sent reminder email asking if any update. No response yet so see how it pans out next week. If nothing by Tuesday will ring.

Sent 2 emails asking for response....no reply. Eventually rang Tuesday got apology from W shop supervisor said Skoda have said get it in & have a look at pads. When requesting a date he said you can’t wait as we don’t know when will be able to start it. This is less than 1 hr job but I can’t wait ????. As it’s not easy for me to commute to the dealer, I’ve asked for a loan car... no problems but not one available until September 2nd. First impressions not good. Had several yrs with my merc dealer & whilst expensive, yes. I always had good service even collecting car if unscheduled repair.

Car went to dealer yesterday for brake investigation. Removed pads, cleaned up pads & disc. No long term problems envisaged.
They took the opportunity to update some software recall. Not sure what it was.
Noticed loads of new Kamiqs waiting to go out (certainly the most popular model) dealer said ‘can’t get enough of them’. Hopefully see a few more members on this forum & a bit more activity

Just had to call our Skoda Breakdown as after driving 50 miles on dual carriageway, brakes began juddering alarmingly. Seems that rear pads and discs are ruined, engineer said "de-laminated" but seemed to be referring to discs rather than pads

My concern is that car is less than two years old and has only done 12,000 miles so I feel this is ridiculously short life for such an essential safety item but apparently only under guarantee for first three months

Interestingly VAG Engineer recommended NOT to have OEM/Skoda fitted but to go to independent garage and get Brembo or some equivalent!

Hi there.
Recently I noticed quite similar issue with rear brakes.
I think it is a production defect
I am planning to visit an official dealer.
