Hi All
Minded to 'spoil' my 1.5 Kamiq by using the higher octane premium fuels. Obviously there is the added expense, but just wondering if people think it is worth it from a performance and engine welfare point of view?

We use ultimate diesel on my wifes Kodiaq 2.0 TDI as our previous Rav 4 suffered from sticky variable vanes in the turbo down to cheaper fuels - though saying that I run normal BP diesel in my Kamiq.

My understanding is (& I will stand corrected) that it is only of benefit in high performance cars ie 350bhp plus engines. Whilst the 1.5 is a great engine I don’t think you’ll notice any benefit
