I recently had a message pop up in the speedo area "Front Assist Unavailable - Sensor Impaired". Took it into the local dealer and they said that they couldn't find any fault, but they had reset the system anyway. The sensor area wasn't dirty or obscured by anything. Sine visiting the dealer the problem seems to have gone away. Has anyone else had this problem?

Skoda Kamiq 2020 SEL DSG

Various things can impair the sensor from dirt and moisture on the cover to too much rain. It's not a great fan of snow either. Had it on the Ateca and the Kamiq, and it always resets by the next journey, often during the journey.

Happened to me going through a big puddle. Cleared next run I think.

Happened again the other day, but cleared after a few miles! Looks as if I just have to live with it!
