I’ve recently received my 2021 Kamiq TSI 95 S, but had issues with using Apple CarPlay from the off.

I’m using a usb c cable that came with my iPhone 11. When I plug in the phone the standard “would you like to start CarPlay with this phone” appears. On confirmation I instantly receive the error ‘connection to iPhone failed’. It appears that via the usb the phone is unreadable, but when connected via Bluetooth all contacts/ sound is working - but not CarPlay. I have tried a new usb c cable to no avail.

Has anyone else experienced this issue and have any advice on how to resolve / what to try next?

Hi I had the same problem so took it to lookers skoda who inform that due to the car being base trim it does not support apple play! Only Bluetooth so a bit gutted. I asked if it could be upgraded and they said no
