On the Farcebook page people have been having problems removing the headrests to get long items in or to fit child lift seats. Most Skoda Dealers have said you can't .. But on mine ( 2019SEL) you can!
A mechanic didn't know, and after a LOT of enquiries, found a way!
If you feel at the back of the front seat upright, about 6 inches (15cm) from the top of the seat, in the very middle, inside is a button. It's hard to find, but it's there on mine! Find it, and push quite hard, it will click. Whilst pressing, pull the headrest, and tradaa... It moves up. I have tried to attach a video, but it's not compatable.. when I sort it, listen carefully and you can here the button clicking. The material goes back into position after a short time where you have pressed... I may have to you tube it and attach a link?

Interesting????.
What model do you have & when was it registered/built. Is this the ‘new’ current model or even the Monte Carlo spec. are you uk based. Just trying to find out why it differs from other models. 🤔🤔🤔
