In settings it shows you can load music from a USB stick/device. But...
I can't find anything to say where you can plug one in.
Do you need to connect via the two 'C' ports and a cable in the centre console?

And.. the book mentions a Data plug that fits into the footwell so that you can connect the phone app via BTooth.
Anyone got one, and is it worth noting? ( They are £14.99 on Amazon with mixed writeups.)

I can answer my own question.

1.. You need a USB 'C' plug to normal USB female to be able to connect via the two plugs in the center console. then plug a memory stick into that. Any music has to be formatted Fat 6.
* Did anyone get a small connector cable with the car when it was collected?

2.. The data plug fits into the console under the right of the dash near your right knee below the little cubby draw ( pink multi connector). Iv'e ordered one after reading up on the Kamiq owners help on Farcebook. as it allows the Skoda Light app to read all car functions, and data. Doesn't do much with music though. I'm still working on the occasional drop out over BT.
