Re: Executive 110 Auto with M1 setting
I’m sorry but if you purchase a Kamiq with the DSG (automatic) transmission & don’t know about the manual gear selection, you really haven’t done your research/homework on the car. You need to spend a little bit more time reading through the drivers handbook (hard copy or on-line)

Re: Brake query
As a long shot, contact “Honest John”. He was a motoring corespondent on one of the big national newspapers, Telegraph I think. He built up an excellent reputation so eventually set up his own site on the internet covering many products not just motoring. He may not have any info on the problem but ...

Re: Introduction
Welcome Tinkeron, I think you & I will get on well. I also have a 1.0l SEL DSG 3yrs old next yr. now retired & having had a career in motor trade, I also leave maintenance to others. I also had 3 new Jazz(‘s). Fantastic cars ultra reliable but a bit underpowered (I went to a merc prior to Ka...

Re: Two year service
These things do bloody annoy me. Firstly why change your brake fluid. Manufacturers will tell you it’s because over time condensation forms in the system, (it has to be a vented system) condensation is water, the danger with water in the system is when massively high temperatures are reached (obviou...

Others may be better informed than myself (being rather of a senior age) but DTEG & Ragtag (& others) certainly seem well switched on to this subject, so once they’ve seen the post I’m sure they’ll respond
