Re: Android Auto

It depends what version of Android you have on the phone. I believe A12 and above works wirelessly, all the others need a wired connection.

Re: Dealer wants an early deal! Result!!

I rang, asked prices for mine, and was told they (obviously) wanted to see it. So on the way i nipped in to a couple of dealers ( Hyundai and Citroen) for some prices... Was offered 17,400 and 17.900 respectively. When I spoke to the Skoda dealer it was an offer on a new unregistered Kamiq 1.0 ( 110...

Dealer wants an early deal!

Just had a video message off the local dealer we got our car from. They have some Kamiq SEL Executive models in that are new. Hes askeing if I want to 'almost swap' our car ( 1.0 manual SEL , 6 speed 115psi, reg Oct 2019, Quartz Grey, 10900 miles.). It's on PCP with 13 months left on the agreement. ...

Re: Newby greetings

Welcome.
I have a 2019 SEL that has dynamic rear indicators, and normal flashing bulbs at the front! so the spec has been changing from day 1 I think.

The DRL's actually reduce light intensity by half when the indicators are on for that side.

Enjoy..

Re: Kamiq fusebox access

I 'think' the orange thing is a fuse puller, but I may be mistaken. I will make getting the fuses out a lot easier if it is. I used some long nose point head pliers when I pulled one to sort my dashcam hardwire out. I know that a couple of vids on youtube show how to access/move fuses on the Kamiq. ...

Re: Headlight Beam Aim Adjustment

I may be wrong, ( and Mrs Ragtag says I am frequently), but isn't there a setting in the infotainment, Car, Lights.. settings to change side of road for the lights?

Sorry if that's rubbish, but worth a look.

Re: 12 volt socket.

I looked into this. It's not easy. I just wired my dash cam to the fuse box direct, The instructions and comments are on here. That is quite easy.

Re: Car cut out

Not heard of this on any other forums either.
As said. Well worth telling them you want a replacement whilst yours is off the road. Skoda will cover it as an unknown fault.
Good luck with it, and welcome.
Let us know how you get on.

New SE being down spec'd

Seen elsewhere that someone who ordered a new Kamiq SE has had it delivered, and the rear doors have window winders, NOT electric windows like the old ones. Skoda have said " They are all like that now Sir!" Looks like Skoda are cutting back dramatically on the basics to keep the car in th...
