My understanding is (& I will stand corrected) that it is only of benefit in high performance cars ie 350bhp plus engines. Whilst the 1.5 is a great engine I don’t think you’ll notice any benefit

Rags When you update the software & notifications does the circle disappear (until new ones available) I don’t have that circle but I do remember getting a software update about 8 weeks ago which I downloaded so could it be as I don’t have any outstanding notifications there’s no reason for the circ...

Unlikely taking the temp from the air flow. There is usually a small sensor somewhere in the cabin (climate control models) having looked at the dash etc in my car the only position the sensor could be is in the overhead console. Only experience I had was back in mid winter when very cold morning... Allowed the engine to reach the 90o temperature then turned on the heater blower.
