Reboot loop on A31

Every time we use the A31, the Kamiq Bolero goes into a reboot loop especially between about Winchester and Alton. Seems to be regardless of wired/wireless Android Auto connection, or none at all, or even if the infotainment is in standby. Yes we get occasional reboots anywhere, but there's somethin...

Re: Changed from Yeti to Kamiq

We went from 1.2 Yeti to 1.0 Kamiq. For all the Karoq is sold as the Yeti successor, the Kamiq is actually a closer match for size (and still actually a little bigger) only really missing out on the higher driving position.

Quite likely the driving style in that case, given how the (little-known, and even less understood) braking regen will affect the "excess" battery charge that my sense is ultimately necessary for S/S to engage.

Re: Auto Stop Start Not working Some but not all the time

Yeah, "happily" (the car, not me) stuck in traffic today and the stop-start decided it was a cooperative day, and the air con was on double duty with no impact at all.

Re: Car play drops out

Android Auto here, but yes the connection can be wobbly - both in establishing and maintaining. Given that sometimes the necessary systems don't start up at all on the Bolero unit (wireless greyed out as unavailable) I'm pretty certain it's the car side rather than the phone (so would probably affec...

Re: Turn signal

Yes, but no more so than with any previous vehicles we've had. The mechanics of auto-cancelling indicators, surprisingly, seem unchanged in generations, and certainly do struggle with some junction profiles.

Re: Auto Stop Start Not working Some but not all the time

Stop/start is deactivated when a/c on (for obvious reasons). As above, it's not quite as simple as that, but the aircon is certainly one of the bigger factors in its logic such as it is. Ambient/engine temperature and driving style seem the most significant for us, though only have manual aircon (p...

Re: Auto Stop Start Not working Some but not all the time

It's certainly rather unpredictable. The warmer weather seems to have persuaded it to work a little more often for us, but there are various other factors that determine whether it thinks the battery has enough spare oomph to do it. One of the key factors as I understand is the regenerative braking ...

Re: New member

You should have Bolero in the SE, which will do wired and wireless connections with any recent Android, and probably the same with iPhone. You may need to start with a wired connection (which is a slight pain because the sockets are USB-C which isn't very standard for cables, but if you want to char...

Re: Turn off infotainment with ignition

Hmm, surprising behaviour. This thread, although referring to different model sounds very similar. I'm surprised it seemed to make any difference for the poster, but worth a try?
