Re: Head Restraints

Neil Thanks so much for this explanation. I would never have worked this out without that information. Bizarrely, a quick glance in the manual under ‘head restraints’ or ‘seats’ makes no mention of this (I looked before I posted the question). I can confirm that the button in the back of the seat is...

Head Restraints

Hi Does anyone know if the head restraints can be removed in the Kamiq? I bought some 2.4m (that’s 8 feet in old money) long timber today and in previous cars, I’ve simply removed the head restraints on the passenger side seats, dropped the back seat back rest forward and the front passenger seat ba...

Re: Order placed

It’s frustrating having to wait several months for a new car! Fortunately my Kamiq was a dealer stock model, a 1.0 SE Auto with a few extras which included some I particularly wanted and some that the dealer had spec’d anyway. That it was the colour i wanted and the deal offered was very good made i...

Re: What do we think?

Skoda UK charge £73 for these according to the brochure so the price looks good. The supplier information says they are based in the Czech Republic which might explain the shipping charge (and the fact that these could be genuine at a very low price compared to UK). I was browsing eBay recently and ...

Re: What a plonker

This is a VW thing I think. I had the exact same door mirror control switch on my 07 plate Golf and I could never understand why they didn’t just use the heated rear window switch for the heated mirrors like most other manufacturers do. I believe that the mirrors in the Skoda / other VWs are on a ti...

Interest free deals

I see that Skoda are offering PCP deals at 0% APR on all 3 SUV models in the range. Might be worth telling anyone you know who is considering buying...?

Not quite sure why they’ve sent me this information a few weeks after I got mine though (at 4.4% APR)!!!

Re: Dissappointed About Bolero Infotainment

Hi. Welcome to the forum. I have a Kamiq SE with the Bolero infotainment system and I have an iPhone 7 (not Plus). I found that it links to CarPlay with no trouble when connected with a cable. It also workS almost as reliably when connected by Bluetooth as well. Overall I’m pretty impressed with the...

Re: Hello

Welcome! I hope you’re enjoying you new Kamiq. I’ve had mine for about a month now and I’m very pleased with it.

There’s not a lot of activity of this forum at the moment but I hope that will change as more people become owners.

Re: Hello!

Welcome! I’m a newbie to this forum and to Skoda as well. I very impressed with my Race Blue, SE 115 DSG in the 2 weeks I’ve had it though. I did a 90 mile journey to Norfolk today and saw over 52MPG without trying!

Re: How many members have a Kamiq sitting on their drive?

“Stealers”......like it! I’d got a We Buy Any Car online valuation of £15,250 but I’d curbed all four of the alloys so I figured they’d knock me back at least £300 for that. The dealer offered £14,700 Including the damaged alloys and they settled the outstanding finance meaning I could drive the old...
